We have just wrapped up an extraordinary week filled with emotions, reflection, and the magic of cinema. The Sopot Film Festival 2025, one of the most important cultural events in the Tri-City, once again took place at Multikino in Promenada Sopocka, attracting cinema lovers from across the region.
This year’s edition of the festival, held from July 13 to 21, offered audiences the chance to see over 100 carefully selected films from around the globe. The diverse program featured both high-profile premieres and ambitious art house cinema, along with short films, documentaries, and animations. Special screenings, filmmaker Q&A sessions, and discussion panels allowed moviegoers to immerse themselves even deeper into the world of film.

The screenings hosted at Multikino in Promenada Sopocka enjoyed particular popularity. Audiences had the chance to watch films competing for the Festival Grand Prix, as well as screenings from the OFF and World Panorama sections, and unique shows accompanied by live music.
Equally well-received were the screenings in the Women’s Cinema, Documentary Cinema, and Sopot Music Film Festival sections, where the combination of film and music created unforgettable experiences.

The Sopot Film Festival is not only about films—it’s about people: cinema enthusiasts, filmmakers, actors, and viewers who together created a unique and inspiring atmosphere.
We would like to thank everyone who joined us this year and we warmly invite you to the next edition of the festival!
