Weronika Tlałka – author of the exhibition “Everything I see in my eyes. I just don’t know if I want it” presented in our STAN SUROWY space – defended her diploma with honors yesterday!

The examination committee consisted of:
Prof. Krzysztof Polkowski, PhD – supervisor of the artistic part,
Dominik Włodarek, PhD – supervisor of the annex (graphics),
Dorota Grubba-Thiede, PhD – supervisor of the theoretical part,
awarded Weronika an excellent grade, emphasizing her diligence, conscientiousness, unconventional way of thinking, and courage in reaching for difficult emotions.
Art that speaks through the eyes.
The exhibition, which you can still see at PROMENADA SOPOCKA during the opening hours of STAN SUROWY, is an extremely personal story told by the artist. Her paintings are not only an expression of emotions, but also an attempt to touch upon what is often invisible – fears, tensions, dreams, and inner turmoil. In addition to painting, Weronika also presents a series of graphics entitled “A Journey Through Nightmares,” which explore the boundaries between reality and the world of the subconscious.
“It’s a bit of a thesis about me, but I believe that everyone can find a part of themselves and emotions they have experienced in at least one of my works,” says Weronika herself.
Come and see what art that really says something looks like.
We are proud to have been part of this journey and invite you to continue it today—Weronika Tlałka’s exhibition can be viewed at STAN SUROWY.
